Inner Structure, Outer Beauty
: A Dialogue with Programs
For decades, I have made a living as a designer.
I have witnessed the transition from analog to digital,
and I have been captivated by the 3D technology that manipulates shapes with numbers.
An inverted process of creation—forming outer shapes from inner structures.
Like the sprouting of life, shapes grow and reveal themselves.
It begins with a vague image drifting in my mind.
It transforms into equations, and parameters shift,
repeating countless variations.
Engaging with the program draws me into a microscopic world.
A space where particles and waves, photons and shadows intersect.
Time stretches, and the program transcends numbers and shapes,
weaving infinite possibilities like quanta.
I touch each of these particles, weaving them into form.
"Beauty" is born in that fleeting moment,
when an instant of order emerges from infinite possibilities.
It is not something that comes from within me,
but something that has always existed, unseen.
A form we discovered together.

内なる構造、外なる美：プログラムとの対話
長きにわたり、デザインを生業としてきた。
アナログからデジタルへの移り変わりを目の当たりにし、
数値で形状を操る3D技術に魅了される。
内なる構造から外形を生む、裏返しのプロセス。
生命の発芽のように、形は成長し、姿を現す。
起点は、頭の中に漂う曖昧なイメージ。
それは数式となり、パラメーターが姿を変え、
無数の変容を繰り返す。
プログラムとのやり取りは、私を微細な世界へと誘う。
粒子と波、光子と影が交差する空間。
時間は引き延ばされ、プログラムは数値と形を超え、
量子のように無限の可能性を織り成す。
私はその一つひとつの粒子に触れ、形を紡ぐ。
"美"とは、この無限の可能性の中から、
一瞬の秩序が生まれる瞬間。
それは私の中から生まれたものではなく、
もともと見えない場所に存在していたもの。
ともに探り当てた、かたち。
